Particular attention is paid to the huge public turnout generated by the match played in Bahia Blanca itself against the <em>Liga del Sur<\/em> team, which ended in victory for the Italian side.<\/p>\n<p>Carlo Caliceti, Head of Communications at Bologna F.C., spoke at the exhibition opening on 18 September, outlining the football club\u2019s evolution from its early days to its most recent successes. Messages of greeting were also sent by the Chief Executive of Bologna F.C., Claudio Fenucci, and Rodrigo Palacio, a former star player for Inter, Genoa and Bologna.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition is part of the programme of events organised to mark Italian Sports Day Around the World and pays tribute to the social, cultural and economic impact that Italian football continues to have in Argentina.
