Lecture Recital\u201d with Baricco"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Italian Cultural Institute in Pretoria organised two evenings that brought literature and music together in an innovative format for the South African theatre scene.<\/p>\n<p>Organised in collaboration with Opera UCT, \u201cOpera. Lecture Recital\u201d took audiences on a journey through opera guided by author Alessandro Baricco and enriched by live performances of some of the best-loved arias in the operatic repertoire by Opera UCT singers.<\/p>\n<p>The Johannesburg performance was followed by an event in Cape Town, organised in collaboration with the Consulate General.
