Italy\u2019s role as a leading investor has had a further boost from the coming to term of the FIAT investment, Serbia\u2019s largest foreign investment (approximately \u20ac1 billion), which has transformed the city of Kragujevac into an automotive industry hub.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>There are over 500 Italian firms operating in Serbia, giving jobs to over 20,000 persons (approximately 2% of the Serbian workforce), in the textiles, banking and insurance sectors.
