This was the content of a communiqu\u00e9 from the Embassy of Italy in Beijing after the Chinese customs authorities opened an inquest into olive oil imported from Italy and alleged in an Italian news investigation to have been produced with oil from other countries.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>\u201cThe Italian oil produced in Italy and abroad\u201d, the communiqu\u00e9 reads, \u201cis produced and marketed in compliance with the high standards of quality and the priority objective of ensuring the food security of its consumers\u201d.
