92nd anniversary of the Lateran Treaty (Italian Embassy to the Holy See, 2 March 2021) \u2013 AUDIO-VIDEO DISTRIBUTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Tuesday, 2 March 2021<\/strong>, the Italian Embassy to the Holy See (Palazzo Borromeo) will celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the Lateran Treaty and the 37th anniversary of the Concordat Amendment Agreement<\/strong> in the presence of the President of the Republic,\u00a0Sergio Mattarella<\/strong>, the President of the Council of Ministers,\u00a0Mario Draghi,<\/strong>\u00a0and the highest-ranking officials of the Republic of Italy and of the Holy See.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bilateral governmental meetings will begin at 16.15.<\/p>\n

Due to the restrictions imposed by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic\u00a0no photographers and TV crews will be allowed\u00a0inside Palazzo Borromeo.<\/p>\n

Photos and films<\/strong>\u00a0will be broadcast via a host-broadcasting service organised as a joint effort by RAI and ANSA news agency.<\/p>\n

Pictures and films of the ceremony will be streamed live on the Foreign Ministry website at\u00a0<\/strong>https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/mae\/it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/approfondimenti\/cerimonia-del-92-anniversario-dei-patti-lateranensi<\/a><\/p>\n

They will then be downloadable from the website after the event<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Also due to the social distancing measures currently in force, a very small number of journalists<\/strong> will be admitted inside Palazzo Borromeo, to report on the arrival of the Authorities.<\/p>\n

Journalists interested in following the event must, therefore, apply for accreditation\u00a0by and no later than\u00a0<\/strong>9.30 on 2\u00a0March 2021<\/strong>, by email to\u00a0accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a>, attaching the required documents (letter by the relevant media organisation and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale<\/i> issued by the Embassy in Rome of the media organisation\u2019s Country).<\/p>\n

Only the first applications received, in chronological order, will be accepted and allowed to access Palazzo Borromeo and participate in the event.<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you do not receive confirmation of your application, you will not be allowed to enter the Embassy premises.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Journalists accredited by confirmation email are kindly requested to arrive at Palazzo Borromeo (second entrance)\u00a0from\u00a0<\/strong>14.45 and no later than 15.15<\/strong>\u00a0(please be punctual<\/strong>).<\/p>\n
