On Wednesday, 24, Thursday 25 and Friday 26 July,\u00a0<\/strong>the Farnesina will host the\u00a013th Conference of Italian Ambassadors<\/strong>, on the theme:\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cContinuity and Change in Italian Foreign Policy towards the Horizon of\u00a0\u00a0\u00a02030\u201d.<\/p>\n

Speakers at the event will be the President of the Republic,\u00a0Sergio Mattarella<\/strong>, Prime Minister\u00a0Giuseppe Conte<\/strong>, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0Enzo Moavero Milanesi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This year too, the Foreign Ministry has convened more than 100 Heads of Italian diplomatic missions in the world to create an opportunity of reflection and debate to enable the Ministry, through its vast diplomatic network, to increasingly express its value added for the security and growth of the Country\u2019s whole economic system. The Conference agenda will focus on the efforts of Italian diplomacy on issues such as Europe, the Mediterranean, cooperation, the challenges of globalization, Italy\u2019s \u201csoft power\u201d and the protection of Italian citizens abroad.<\/p>\n

Closing Session\u00a0with remarks by the Prime Minister (at 10:10 a.m.), the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI)<\/p>\n

Family photo\u00a0with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs\u00a0(exclusively for photographers and TV crews)<\/i><\/p>\n

Photographers and TV crews will be able to cover the sessions directly from the Conference Hall and journalists from the closed-circuit overflow rooms and salles d\u2019\u00e9coute set up at the Ministry.<\/p>\n

We inform media representatives that, in order to assure the security of the Conference, Public Security Agencies have adopted measures to limit the circulation of private automobiles and the use of parking areas adjacent to the Farnesina Building. In particular, transit and parking will be forbidden on Via Macchia della Farnesina.<\/strong><\/p>\n
