It consists of diaries, letters and memories telling the story of \u201cordinary\u201d Italians living abroad between the beginning of the 19<sup>th<\/sup> century to date, collected since 1984 by the Archivio Diaristico Nazionale and offered to interested readers worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The event, which is open to the press, envisages speeches by <strong>Elisabetta Belloni<\/strong>, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, <strong>Luigi Maria Vignali<\/strong>, Director General for Italians Abroad, <strong>Nicola Maranesi<\/strong>, the project curator and\u00a0<strong>Pier Vittorio Buffa<\/strong>, editorial advisor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>At the presentation, Francesca Ritrovato and Jacopo Bicocchi will read excerpts from the testimonies gathered on the online Platform. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in covering the event are requested to apply for accreditation in one of the following two ways:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 <strong>ONLINE<\/strong>, at the link\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it<\/a>, attaching thereto the requested documentation in digital format (letter of his\/her media organization containing his\/her personal data and, for members of the foreign press, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation\u2019s Country).<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0 <strong>VIA E-MAIL<\/strong> to:\u00a0accreditamentostampa@esteri.it, (Tel: +39 06\/3691.3432 \u2013 06\/3691.8573), attaching thereto the aforesaid documentation.<\/p>\n<p>Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews may <strong>enter the Ministry<\/strong><strong> from the main entrance <\/strong><strong>\u2013 left-hand side \u2013 from <\/strong><strong>4:30 to 5:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On Monday, 10 June 2019, at 5 p.m., the Farnesina will host the presentation of the online platform \u201cItalians Abroad, Diaries Tell Tales\u201d.
