The event, which is part of the activities promoting the\u00a0 \u201cGlobal Attractiveness Index-GAI\u201d developed by The European House &#8211; Ambrosetti (TEH-A), aims to provide an in-depth discussion about the relationship between a Country\u2019s image and its position on the main international rankings.<\/p>\n<p>The Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0<strong>Manlio di Stefano<\/strong>\u00a0will make the opening address. It will be followed by contributions by\u00a0<strong>Giandomenico Magliano,\u00a0<\/strong>Coordinator of Investment Attraction Strategies and Positioning on International Rankings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI),\u00a0<strong>Fabrizio Lucentini,\u00a0<\/strong>Director General for Internationalisation and Trade Promotion\u00a0 of the Ministry of Economic Development,\u00a0<strong>Roberto Torrini<\/strong>, Director of the\u00a0Structural Economic Analysis Department of<em>\u00a0<\/em>the Bank of Italy,\u00a0<strong>Stefano Nigro<\/strong>, FDI Department Director,\u00a0 Italian Trade Agency &#8211; ICE and\u00a0<strong>Eugenio Sidoli<\/strong>, Coordinator of the Foreign Investors Advisory Board of Confindustria and Chairperson and CEO of Philip Morris Italia.<\/p>\n<p>The day&#8217;s agenda will continue with the presentation of the \u201cGlobal Attractiveness Index\u201d 2018 Report by <strong>Valerio de Molli<\/strong>, Managing Partner and CEO of The European House \u2013 Ambrosetti, and follow with contributions by <strong>Reenat Sandhu<\/strong>, the Ambassador of India, <strong>Jasen Mesic<\/strong>, the Ambassador of the\u00a0 Republic of Croatia, <strong>June Chepchirchir<\/strong>, Charg\u00e9e d&#8217;Affaires at the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya and <strong>Agnieszka Hoppen-Klikowicz<\/strong>, Minister Counsellor at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Vincenzo De Luca<\/strong>, Director General\u00a0for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation, will chair the event.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and TV crews who wish to attend\u00a0the event\u00a0should apply for\u00a0<strong>accreditation by sending an email\u00a0<\/strong>to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u2019s Institutional Press and Communication Service at:\u00a0accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\u00a0 (tel. 06\/3691.3432-8573-8210), attaching the letter of their media organisation with personal data (or press card for freelance journalists) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation\u2019s country.<\/p>\n<p>Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews can\u00a0<strong>enter the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation at the main entrance, left-hand side,\u00a0from 4.00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On Tuesday, 27 November at 4.30 p.m.,the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation will host\u00a0a conference entitled\u00a0\u201cIndici e reputazione: strategie per l\u2019attrattivit\u00e0 a confronto\u201d\u00a0(Indices and Reputation: comparing attractiveness strategies).
