{"id":25309,"date":"2018-11-16T10:41:05","date_gmt":"2018-11-16T09:41:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2018\/11\/nota-informativa-nuovo-portale-di-accreditamento-per-la-stampa-del-ministero-degli-affari-esteri-e-della-cooperazione-internazionale-maeci-2\/"},"modified":"2018-11-16T10:41:05","modified_gmt":"2018-11-16T09:41:05","slug":"nota-informativa-nuovo-portale-di-accreditamento-per-la-stampa-del-ministero-degli-affari-esteri-e-della-cooperazione-internazionale-maeci","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/notestampa\/2018\/11\/nota-informativa-nuovo-portale-di-accreditamento-per-la-stampa-del-ministero-degli-affari-esteri-e-della-cooperazione-internazionale-maeci\/","title":{"rendered":"INFORMATION NOTE &#8211; NEW MEDIA ACCREDITATION PORTAL of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The new online <strong>Media Accreditation Portal<\/strong> of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), is now available at: <a href=\"https:\/\/portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/portaleaccreditamento.esteri.it\/<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Developed in compliance with the most advanced digital and security standards, the new platform features a graphic interface that simplifies its use and makes accreditation procedures faster and more efficient.<\/p>\n<p>Available in Italian and English, the new Portal <strong>replaces the previous one.<\/strong> Reporters (Italian and foreign) and foreign correspondents with permanent accreditation in Italy who have already registered on the previous Portal will have to <strong>re-register<\/strong> by following the instructions contained in the User Guide attached hereto.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The accreditation procedure is as follows:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0First, proceed to <strong>Register online<\/strong>, after which users will receive an email at their email address confirming the registration and enabling them to access their <i>Members Area<\/i> on the Portal page. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0On the \u00abMy documents\u00bb section of the<i> Members Area,<\/i> <strong>upload the following documents in digital format: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00fc\u00a0passport photo;<\/p>\n<p>\u00fc\u00a0a valid ID card or passport;<\/p>\n<p>\u00fc\u00a0for non-freelance journalists:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Italian: letter from their media organisations;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0foreign: letter from their media organisations and a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation\u2019s Country (alternatively, the Embassy can directly send the letter by email to accreditamentostampa@esteri.it);<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00fc\u00a0for freelance journalists:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Italian: their press card;<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0foreign: an assignment letter from a media organisation and a copy of the Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation\u2019s Country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>After all the documents are uploaded and sent, they are vetted by the Institutional Press and Communication Service of the MAECI, which can then validate or reject the accreditation.
