UPDATE &#8211; Italy-Africa Ministerial Conference (Farnesina, 25 October 2018)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On Thursday, 25 October 2018, at 10:00 a.m.<\/strong>, the Farnesina will host the\u00a0<strong>Italy-Africa Ministerial Conference<\/strong>, which will convene in Rome more than\u00a0<strong>40 delegations from African Countries<\/strong>, the top executives of the African Union and high-ranking representatives of Regional Agencies and of major International Organizations of the UN System. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The President of the Republic,\u00a0<strong>Sergio Mattarella<\/strong>, will make the opening remarks and the Opening Session will follow with remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0<strong>Enzo Moavero Milanesi<\/strong>\u00a0and by the Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission,\u00a0<strong>Kwesi Quartey<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Plenary Session, chaired by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0<strong>Emanuela Del Re, and the following thematic panels, will feature the participation of members of the Government of African Countries as well as representatives from the world of economics, entrepreneurship, academia and the third sector<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Conference will close with remarks by the Italian Prime Minister, Prof.\u00a0<strong>Giuseppe Conte<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The day\u2019s agenda schedules the\u00a0<strong>following photo moments<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0<strong>10:00-11:15
