On Monday, 22 October 2018, at 10:00 a.m.,<\/strong>\u00a0Villa Madama will host the 3rd Edition of the\u00a0Joint Action for the Italian Language in the World.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event will be entirely open to the press.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Meeting will open with remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0Enzo Moavero Milanesi\u00a0<\/strong>and by the Minister of Education, University and Research,\u00a0Marco Bussetti.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The other speakers scheduled to speak at the Opening Session of the Joint Action are the President of the Dante Alighieri Society,\u00a0Andrea Riccardi<\/strong>, the President of the Accademia della Crusca,\u00a0Claudio Marazzini<\/strong>, the Ambassador of the Helvetic Confederation to Italy,\u00a0Giancarlo Kessler<\/strong>\u00a0and the President of RAI,\u00a0Marcello Foa<\/strong>. The session will be moderated by the Director General for Economic and Cultural Promotion and Innovation,\u00a0Vincenzo De Luca<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The event\u2019s agenda will unfold as follows:<\/p>\n

2:30 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Second Plenary Session: Italian Language Networks in the World \u2013 Round Table<\/p>\n

4:00 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Closing Plenary Session:<\/p>\n

Presentation of the figures on the dissemination of the Italian language in the world and Working Groups Reports;<\/p>\n

Closing remarks by the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0Guglielmo Picchi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Villa Madama will be closed to private traffic and therefore a shuttle bus service will take participants from the Farnesina to Villa Madama and return.<\/p>\n
