The aim of this new edition of CinemaArena is to promote the dissemination of correct information on the risk of illegal migration, with a special focus on the principal Countries of origin of the migrants coming to Europe. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The speakers at the meeting will be the MAECI\u2019s Director General for Italians Abroad and Migration Policies,\u00a0<strong>Luigi Maria Vignali<\/strong>, the Deputy Director General for Development Cooperation,<strong>\u00a0Paolo Cuculi<\/strong>,\u00a0the Deputy Chief of the Civil Liberties and Immigration Department of the Ministry of the Interior,\u00a0<strong>Bruno Corda<\/strong>, the Director of the IOM\u2019s Coordinating Office for the Mediterranean,\u00a0<strong>Federico Soda<\/strong>\u00a0and the Deputy Director of the AICS,\u00a0<strong>Leonardo Carmenati<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The presentations will also project images of the past edition of the initiative and the testimonials of this year\u2019s activities, which kicked off in September in Senegal.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested\u00a0<strong>to apply for accreditation<\/strong><strong>\u00a0by sending an email<\/strong>\u00a0to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u2019s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: <a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a> (Tel. + 39 06\/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching thereto the letter of his\/her media organisation (or press card for freelance reporters) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation\u2019s Country.<\/p>\n<p>Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews may collect their accreditation badges in person from the\u00a0Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0<strong>main entrance \u2013 left-hand side \u2013 from<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>10:30 a.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On Tuesday, 9 October, at 11:00 a.m.,\u00a0the Farnesina, will host the presentation of the new edition of\u00a0CinemArena, an itinerant cinema project jointly launched in 2002 by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
