A Country for Travellers <\/strong><strong>\u2013 A journey through Italian culture, style and food\u201d.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The event, which will be attended by international tour operators, representatives of foreign media organisations and members of the diplomatic corps, will present the actions to promote the image of Italy abroad launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) through its diplomatic and consular network in the following Countries: United States, Canada, Japan, India, People\u2019s Republic of China, South Africa, Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>The promotional initiatives form part of the broader #VivereALLItaliana campaign and are organised through the funds allocated under the Protocol of Understanding to promote the image of Italy abroad, signed between the Office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism and the MAECI.<\/p>\n<p>At the evening \u2013 presented by RAI journalist,\u00a0<strong>Giuliana Palmiotta <\/strong>\u2013\u00a0presentations will be delivered by representatives of the <strong>MAECI<\/strong>\u00a0and of the\u00a0<strong>Ministry of Tourism<\/strong>,\u00a0the President of ENIT,\u00a0<strong>Evelina Christillin<\/strong>,\u00a0the Coordinator for Tourism of the Conference of Regions and of Autonomous Provinces,\u00a0<strong>Giovanni Lolli<\/strong>\u00a0and the Special Commissioner of Alitalia,<strong>\u00a0Luigi Gubitosi<\/strong>.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested to <strong>apply for accreditation<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>by sending an email<\/strong> to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u2019s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: <strong>accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/strong> (Tel. + 39 06\/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching thereto the letter of his\/her media organisation (or press card for freelance reporters) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation\u2019s Country.<\/p>\n<p>Accredited journalists, photographers and TV crews may collect their accreditation badges in person from the \u2018Lanterna di Fuksas\u2019 (Via Tomacelli, 157 Roma), <strong>starting from 7:00 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On Wednesday, 27 June 2018\u00a0starting from 7:30 p.m., the \u2018Lanterna di Fuksas\u2019 (Via Tomacelli, 157) in Rome will host the presentation of the actions to promote the image of Italy abroad with the title \u201cItaly.
