Following the opening remarks, contributions will be delivered by Vice Minister\u00a0<strong>Mario Giro<\/strong>; the Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo,\u00a0<strong>Albert Felha Tshiseleka<\/strong>, representing the African Diplomatic Body; and the wife of Ghana&#8217;s Vice President,\u00a0<strong>Samira Bawumia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration will end with remarks by the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa,\u00a0<strong>Shirish Manaklal<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the opening session are requested to apply for accreditation by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u2019s Institutional Press and Communication Service at: <a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a>, (tel.\u00a0\u00a006\/3691.3432-8573-8210), attaching the letter of their media organisation (or press card for journalists) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation\u2019s country.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accreditation badges\u00a0<\/strong><strong>may be collected in person from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>at the central entrance \u2013 left-hand side \u2013 from 2 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The 2018 Africa Day\u00a0will be celebrated at the Farnesina on\u00a024 May 2018, on the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU).
