On 10 and 11 May 2018<\/strong>\u00a0Rome\u2019s Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi will host the\u00a0OSCE Counter-Terrorism Conference 2018<\/strong>\u00a0entitled \u201cThe Reverse Flow of Foreign Terrorist Fighters (FTFs): Challenges for the OSCE Area and Beyond\u201d<\/strong>, promoted by the Italian OSCE Chairmanship for 2018.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The event will be attended by numerous Italian and foreign government officials and international scholars and experts, reflecting the extent to which this project is shared and supported at international level.<\/p>\n

The Conference\u2019s Opening Session, on 10 May (9:00-10:15 a.m.), and Closing Session, on 11 (5:00-5:30 p.m.),\u00a0will be open to the press.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Opening Session\u00a0<\/strong>will begin with remarks by the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u00a0Vincenzo Amendola<\/strong>\u00a0and the Director of the Office of the OSCE General Secretariat, Paul Bekkers.<\/p>\n

The Closing Session\u00a0<\/strong>will schedule remarks by\u00a0Alessandro Cortese<\/strong>, the Foreign Ministry\u2019s Deputy Director General for Political Affairs and Security and\u00a0Rasa Ostrauskaite<\/strong>, OSCE Coordinator of Activities to Address Transnational Threats.<\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the event are requested\u00a0to apply for accreditation<\/strong>\u00a0by 6 p.m. on Tuesday, 8 May,\u00a0<\/strong>in one of the following two ways:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0by filling the interactive form<\/strong>\u00a0and clicking on the event concerned\u00a0at the link http:\/\/mae.accreditationsystem.info\/ITA\/Indice.asp<\/a>, attaching thereto, unless already provided, the documentation requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation\u2019s Country).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0by sending an email<\/strong>\u00a0to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u2019s Institutional Press and Communication Service at the following address: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a> (Tel. + 39 06\/3691.3432 or 8573 or 8210), attaching thereto the letter of his\/her media organisation (or press card for freelance reporters) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation\u2019s Country.<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0Thursday,<\/strong>\u00a010 May<\/strong>, from\u00a08:00 to 8:30 a.m. to attend the Opening Session;<\/p>\n
