The 2018 OSCE Conference against Terrorism<\/i> will be held on 10 and 11 May\u00a0<\/strong>at Rome\u2019s Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi. “The Reverse Flow of Foreign Terrorist Fighters (FTFs): Challenges for the OSCE Area and Beyond”<\/strong>, is promoted by Italy’s 2018 OSCE chairmanship.<\/p>\n

Many representatives of Italian and foreign governments will take part, with academics and international experts, a sign of how such projects are shared and supported at international level.<\/p>\n

The opening session on 10 May (from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15a.m.) and the closing session on 11 May (from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.), will be open to the press.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The conference will be open<\/strong>ed by Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Vincenzo<\/strong> Amendola<\/strong>, and OSCE Secretary General, Thomas<\/strong> Greminger<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The closing session<\/strong> will be held by Director General for Political Affairs and Security for the Farnesina, Alessandro<\/strong> Cortese<\/strong>, and OSCE co-ordinator of Activities to Address Transnational Threats, Rasa Ostrauskaite<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Journalists, photographers and TV crews should apply for accreditation by 6:00 p.m on Tuesday 8 May<\/strong>. They can apply in one of the following ways:<\/p>\n

– by filling out the interactive form<\/strong> and selecting the event at http:\/\/mae.accreditationsystem.info\/ITA\/Indice.asp<\/a>, attaching, unless already provided, the information requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome embassy of the media organisation\u2019s country).<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 by sending an email<\/strong> to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u2019s Institutional Press and Communication Service at: accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a>, (telephone 06\/3691.3432-8573-8210), attaching the letter of their media organisation (or press card for journalists) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome embassy of the media organisation\u2019s country.<\/p>\n

The press entrance to the\u00a0Congress Centre of the Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi,\u00a0via G. Frescobaldi, 5<\/a>, will be open as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n

– Thursday 10 May<\/strong>, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., to cover the opening session;<\/p>\n
