Both events are promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).<\/p>\n<p>The conference will open with remarks by Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0<strong>Angelino<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Alfano<\/strong>, and by Italian Minister of Education, University and Research,\u00a0<strong>Valeria<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Fedeli<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Following the introductory remarks, contributions will be delivered by\u00a0the President of the Council of Presidents of Public Research Bodies,\u00a0<strong>Massimo<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Inguscio;<\/strong>\u00a0the President of the Conference of Italian University Rectors,\u00a0<strong>Gaetano<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Manfredi<\/strong>; the President of Confindustria\u2019s Technical Research and Development Group,\u00a0<strong>Daniele<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Finocchiaro<\/strong>; and the Italian Commissioner-General at Expo Dubai 2020,\u00a0<strong>Paolo<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Glisenti<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the Roundtable\u00a0<strong>\u201cTelling Italian Science and Technology in the World\u201d<\/strong>, the concluding address will be by the Head of the Department of Higher Education and Research at MIUR,\u00a0<strong>Marco<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Mancini,\u00a0<\/strong>followed by the presentation of the exhibition<strong>\u00a0\u201cItaly: The Beauty of Knowledge\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Journalists, photographers and TV crews interested in following the opening session are requested to apply for accreditation in one of the following ways:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0by filling out the interactive form and selecting the event at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mae.accreditationsystem.info\/ITA\/Indice.asp\">http:\/\/mae.accreditationsystem.info\/ITA\/Indice.asp<\/a>, attaching, unless already provided, the information requested in digital format (letter from the media organisation and, for representatives of foreign media, also a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation\u2019s country).\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 by sending an email to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u2019s Institutional Press and Communication Service at:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:accreditamentostampa@esteri.it\">accreditamentostampa@esteri.it<\/a>,\u00a0(tel. 06\/3691.3432-8573-8210), attaching the letter of their media organisation (or press card for journalists) and, for members of the foreign press, a Note Verbale released by the Rome Embassy of the media organisation\u2019s country.<\/p>\n<p>Accreditation badges must be collected in person from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation\u00a0<strong>at the central entrance \u2013 left-hand side \u2013 from 5 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On Monday, 16 April\u00a0at 6:00 p.m., the\u00a0\u201cItalian Research Day in the World\u201d\u00a0will be celebrated at the Farnesina, together with the inauguration of the\u00a0exhibition \u201cItaly: The Beauty of Knowledge\u201d.
