Second Edition of ministerial Conference: A Shared Responsibility for a Common Goal &#8211; Solidarity and Security (Farnesina, 6 February 2018)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>On Tuesday, 6 February,<\/strong> at the initiative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0<strong>Angelino Alfano,\u00a0<\/strong>the<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Farnesina will host the second edition of the ministerial conference: <strong>\u201cA Shared Responsibility for a Common Goal &#8211; Solidarity and Security\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Libya, Malta, Niger, the Netherlands, Spain, Sudan and Tunisia are the African and European Countries invited to participate in the Conference.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Conference will open with remarks by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,\u00a0<strong>Angelino Alfano,\u00a0<\/strong>followed by the Director General of the International Organization for Migration (OIM),\u00a0<strong>William Lacy Swing<\/strong>, the Secretary General of OSCE,\u00a0<strong>Thomas Greminger<\/strong>, and the Deputy Foreign Minister of Bulgaria,<strong> Todor Stoyanov,<\/strong> on behalf of Bulgaria\u2019s rotating Presidency of the European Union Council.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Italy\u2019s chief diplomat, <strong>Minister Alfano<\/strong> affirmed: \u201cThe Conference intends to promote the new dialogue format announced in the <strong>joint declaration of the first edition of the conference, <\/strong>which took place in Rome last 6 July on the strengthened partnership between European and African Countries of Transit, with the aim of initiating an integrated management of the migration phenomenon capable of combining the principles of solidarity and security.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The following moments will be open to the press:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<strong>10:00 a.m.<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>&#8211;<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0<strong>opening remarks<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<strong>1:00 p.m. \u00a0\u00a0&#8211;
