{"id":25831,"date":"2017-01-17T09:00:41","date_gmt":"2017-01-17T08:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2017\/01\/nota-di-accreditamento-conferenza_16-2\/"},"modified":"2017-01-17T09:00:41","modified_gmt":"2017-01-17T08:00:41","slug":"nota-di-accreditamento-conferenza_16","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/notestampa\/2017\/01\/nota-di-accreditamento-conferenza_16\/","title":{"rendered":"ACCREDITATION NOTICE &#8211; Conference \u201cYouth and the Mediterranean: Exploring New Approaches to Dialogue and Cooperation&#8221; (Farnesina, 19 January 2017)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On Thursday, 19 January, at 10:00 a.m., <\/strong>the Farnesina will host the Conference <strong>\u201cYouth and the Mediterranean: Exploring New Approaches to Dialogue and Cooperation&#8221;<\/strong>, organised by the Institute of International Affairs (IAI) within the framework of the \u201cNew-Med Research Network\u201d Programme and promoted by the Italian Chair of the OECD\u2019s \u201cMediterranean Contact Group\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Conference will open with remarks by <strong>Alessandro Azzoni<\/strong>, the Permanent Representative of Italy to the OECD, <strong>Armando Barucco<\/strong>, the head of the Foreign Ministry\u2019s Analysis, Planning and Historic and Diplomatic Documentation Unit, <strong>Ettore Greco<\/strong>, Director of the Institute of International Affairs, and <strong>Nicol\u00f2 Russo Perez<\/strong>, coordinator of international affairs of the Compagnia di San Paolo.<\/p>\n<p>Young researchers from the Mediterranean Countries and North Africa will present their projects \u2013 developed within the framework of the \u201cNew-Med Research Network\u201d Programme \u2013 on a new approach to dialogue and cooperation within the MENA Countries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The event will be divided into four sessions: the first will be dedicated to discussing the effects of climate change in the MENA region; the second session will deal with the issue of citizenship and the weakening of the government system.
