The conference itself, promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and by ISPI, will take place from 10 to 12 December.<\/p>\n<p>The MED 2015 Conference is entitled \u201cBeyond Turmoil, a positive Agenda\u201d. Its aim is to lay the foundation for a new agenda for the Mediterranean so that the region is no longer perceived solely as a synonym for crisis, danger and instability but can once again be a theatre of opportunity.<\/p>\n<p>The conference will focus on the current challenges and transformations in the Mediterranean, which has become the epicentre for international unrest and where the priority remains that of defeating Da\u2019esh and violent extremism.
