On Friday 5 June Under-Secretary Mario Giro will meet journalists to illustrate the initiatives and objectives of the 7th Italy-Latin America Conference being held in Milan on 12 and 13 June. The press conference will take place in the Farnesina\u2019s Sala Aldo Moro at 10.00.<\/p>\n
The Conference is the key political event of the year in terms of Italy\u2019s relations with Latin America, a region that \u2013 especially in the commercial and cultural sectors \u2013 is strategic for our country. At least 2 heads of state and 15 foreign ministers of Latin American countries will be attending. Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Paolo Gentiloni, will also be taking part.<\/p>\n
