A debate on the topic \u201cItalian companies and compliance with the universal system of human rights\u201d will take place at the Farnesina at 15.30 on Friday 14 November 2014. The event coincides with the presentation of the paper on \u201cBusiness e Diritti Umani: una sfida per le imprese?\u201d. The paper, in turn, is the result of a study on the relationship between business activities and respect for human rights begun in 2009 by the AVSI Found<\/A>ation and a group of researchers and academics from Universit\u00e0 di Roma Tor Vergata. <\/P> The paper takes an eminently practical approach and is designed to provide a useful tool for all stakeholders, entrepreneurs first and foremost. It illustrates the challenges faced by businesses in safeguarding and promoting human rights.
