The event coincides with the presentation of the paper on \u201cBusiness e Diritti Umani: una sfida per le imprese?\u201d. The paper, in turn, is the result of a study on the relationship between business activities and respect for human rights begun in 2009 by the AVSI Found<A name=_GoBack><\/A>ation and a group of researchers and academics from Universit\u00e0 di Roma Tor Vergata. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>The paper takes an eminently practical approach and is designed to provide a useful tool for all stakeholders, entrepreneurs first and foremost. It illustrates the challenges faced by businesses in safeguarding and promoting human rights.
