{"id":26561,"date":"2014-05-28T10:54:42","date_gmt":"2014-05-28T08:54:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2014\/05\/20140528_collezione_farnesina-2\/"},"modified":"2014-05-28T10:54:42","modified_gmt":"2014-05-28T08:54:42","slug":"20140528_collezione_farnesina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/notestampa\/2014\/05\/20140528_collezione_farnesina\/","title":{"rendered":"Recall &#8211; Giornata della trasparenza &#8211; Inaugurazione nuova Collezione Farnesina (Farnesina, 29 maggio 2014)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><P>On Thursday 29 May 2014 at 9:30, Minister for Foreign Affairs Federica Mogherini will join Minister for Culture Dario Franceschini at the foreign ministry in Rome in inaugurating the new mounting of the Farnesina Collection, within the framework of the 3rd annual Transparency Day.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>The \u201cFarnesina Art Collection\u201d was set up in 2001, and has since continued to expand with the loan of major works by Italian 20th century artists such as Arturo Martini, Mario Sironi, Gi\u00f2 Pomodoro and Jannis Kounellis.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>The collection currently holds 400 pieces by 250 artists<\/STRONG>.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Selection of the works has followed criteria accumulated over the years by various committees, whose continuing objective is to foreground the importance and personality of Italian contemporary art. <\/P><br \/>\n<P>Participants in the event will include a broad range of institutional representatives, members of the Farnesina Collection committee, artists and loaners of the works in the collection and representatives of the foreign diplomatic corps.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>A guided tour reserved for journalists and camera operators<\/STRONG> will begin at 18:00.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Online accreditation system<\/STRONG>.
