At 15.30 on Monday 30 December Foreign Minister Emma Bonino will hold a press conference at the Foreign Ministry along with the Minister for Cultural Activities and Tourism, Massimo Bray, and the Minister for Integration, Cecile Kyenge, to present the Italy-Africa Initiative. Also taking part will be Deputy Minister Lapo Pistelli and the Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mario Giro.<\/P>

With this initiative, Italy intends to revitalise its relations with the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa by promoting a varied programme of initiatives involving all possible spheres of collaboration. These will range from politics to the economy, culture to development cooperation, and from education to sustainable growth. <\/P>
