{"id":28493,"date":"2017-06-23T16:02:45","date_gmt":"2017-06-23T14:02:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2017\/06\/pubblicato-un-bando-per-il-finanziamento-2\/"},"modified":"2017-06-23T16:02:45","modified_gmt":"2017-06-23T14:02:45","slug":"pubblicato-un-bando-per-il-finanziamento","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2017\/06\/pubblicato-un-bando-per-il-finanziamento\/","title":{"rendered":"Announcement for industrial research projects funding between Italy and India"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Within the framework of the\u00a0<strong>Agreement\u00a0 on Scientific and Technological Cooperation between the\u00a0Republic of India and the\u00a0Republic of Italy,\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0signed in\u00a0New Delhi on 28 November 2003 and enforced\u00a0on\u00a0 3 November 2009,\u00a0 the\u00a0Directorate General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation of\u00a0Italy&#8217;s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and the Department of Science and Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of India, have issued their first <strong>announcement for industrial research projects<\/strong>, seeking to promote technological innovation and partnerships between the two countries.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> themes <\/strong>of the bilateral projects will focus on advanced materials, intelligent industry, cultural heritage technologies, water technologies (with special regard for potable water, purification, desalination, irrigation and polluted water management and processing).<\/p>\n<p>Indian concerns intending to respond to the call must be based in India &#8211;\u00a0academic foundations and hospital research\u00a0bodies, as well as research institutions\u00a0,will be encouraged to participate\u00a0in the projects as collaborators. The Italian partners will\u00a0be companies carrying out\u00a0research and development activities.\u00a0Companies not performing R&#038;D directly will be admitted as long as they collaborate with a non-industrial body (university, research centre, etc).
