\u201cNorth Korea\u2019s advancement of its nuclear and missile programme represents a serious and growing threat to the global non-proliferation regime, as well as to international peace and security. The Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea is the only Country to have violated the international moratorium on nuclear testing in the 21st<\/sup>\u00a0Century. The sixth nuclear test conducted by Pyongyang once again casts light on the need to promptly enforce the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty,\u201d Minister Alfano clarified.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Democratic People\u2019s Republic of Korea must immediately stop developing its nuclear and missile programme and refrain from increasing its self-isolation and challenging the international community.
