Pyongyang’s frequency of missile testing and the country’s ongoing development of related technologies are a source of deep and growing concern, besides causing the destabilisation of the wider region,” said Angelino Alfano, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.<\/p>\n
“Such actions represent yet another violation of the multiple resolutions issued by the UN Security Council. The North Korean missile and nuclear programme poses a serious threat to the global non-proliferation regime, and undermines peace and security in the world,” Minister Alfano added. “Our condemnation is all the more important today when we observe the International Day Against Nuclear Tests.
