The talks focused on the excellence of bilateral relations. \u201cItaly is Croatia\u2019s second-largest trade partner,\u201d said Minister Alfano, underscoring that \u201cthere is room to further bolster economic relations and Italian investments in the Country.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n
Minister Alfano confirmed Rome\u2019s and Zagreb\u2019s common commitment to strengthen the Euro-Atlantic integration of the Countries of the Western Balkans. In this perspective, \u201cof particular relevance is the upcoming Western Balkans\u00a0Summit, which will be hosted next year in Italy, currently the Chair of the Process,\u201d he said. \u201cThe main aim of this meeting \u2013 the Minister added \u2013 will be to give further political impulse to the region\u2019s European integration prospects and favour its stabilisation also by supporting these Countries\u2019 sustainable growth.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
