On the sidelines of\u00a0the G20 Summit in Rome, the\u00a0Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Luigi Di Maio, met the Secretary for Foreign Relations of Mexico, Marcelo Ebrard Casaub\u00f2n. This meeting follows the bilateral meeting, which\u00a0was\u00a0held last June in Bari-Matera,\u00a0on the sidelines of\u00a0the Foreign-Cooperation Ministerial G20 meeting.<\/p>\n
First of all, the Minister expressed his satisfaction with the Strategic Partnership with Mexico, established in 2012, around which our excellent bilateral relations are developing.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the\u00a0Minister\u00a0of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation<\/p>\n
pointed out that Mexico is Italy’s second partner in the Latin American region in terms of trade levels, hoping for a further strengthening of economic relations, also through an increase in the volume of\u00a0investment\u00a0in the two countries.<\/p>\n
