They will also be available on MyMovies and through the network of Embassies, Consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes around the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The fourth edition of\u00a0<strong><i>Fare Cinema<\/i><\/strong>, an event dedicated to Italian cinema abroad promoted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ANICA, Agenzia ICE and Istituto Luce &#8211; Cinecitt\u00e0, will take place\u00a0<strong>from 14 to 20 June<\/strong>. The title of the event (<strong><i>Reboot &#8211; Il cinema italiano riparte<\/i><\/strong>) highlights the\u00a0<strong>extraordinary ability of the Italian film industry to react<\/strong>\u00a0to the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. As always, the programme will focus in particular on the\u00a0<strong>jobs of cinema<\/strong>, with a series of\u00a0<strong>original productions<\/strong>\u00a0made with the partners of this initiative, with English or multilingual subtitles.<\/p>\n<p>Once again this year\u00a0<strong><i>Fare Cinema<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0will take place online: its preferential channels will be\u00a0<strong><i>italiana<\/i><\/strong>, with free access, and the\u00a0<strong>MyMovies<\/strong>\u00a0platform.<\/p>\n<p>On\u00a0<strong><i>italiana<\/i><\/strong>&#8216;s Vimeo channel you will get to know the five finalists in the &#8220;Best Short Film&#8221; category of the 2021 David di Donatello Awards (<strong><i>Italian Screens<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0with the\u00a0<strong>Accademia del Cinema Italiano<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>ANICA<\/strong>), three unreleased documentaries on the\u00a0<strong>Salone Internazionale del Libro<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>di Torino<\/strong>\u00a0recounting the transformation of great novels into great movies (<strong><i>Book To Screen<\/i><\/strong>) and the complete series of films made for the MAECI-Anica\u00a0<strong><i>Corti d&#8217;Autore<\/i><\/strong>\u00a0project. You will also find video clips, interviews and meetings with the protagonists of the audiovisual industry (<strong><i>Reboot\/Il nuovo abbraccio del cinema<\/i><\/strong>, with\u00a0<strong>Fondazione Cinema per Roma<\/strong>, supervised by\u00a0<strong>Mario Sesti<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>For six weeks from 14 June,\u00a0<strong><i>Oltre lo schermo<\/i><\/strong>, a documentary festival supervised by\u00a0<strong>Audiovisiva (audiovisiva.org)<\/strong>, will also be available, with 15 documentaries describing the professions of Italian cinema. The videos will be accessible on a dedicated platform through the websites of the Italian Cultural Institutes and on\u00a0<i>italiana<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, throughout the\u00a0<i>Fare Cinema<\/i>\u00a0event Cultural Institutes, Embassies and Consulates will offer free online screenings through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mymovies.it\/ondemand\/iic\/\"><strong>MyMovies<\/strong>\u00a0platform<\/a>\u00a0with entrepreneurship and excellence stories from\u00a0<strong><i>Biopic<\/i>\u00a0TV (Rai.com and MoviHeart)<\/strong>\u00a0and the series\u00a0<strong>Con la macchina da presa<\/strong>, organised in collaboration with\u00a0<strong>True Colours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"This week\u00a0italiana, the portal of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation dedicated to promoting the Italian language, culture and creativity in the world, features specials focusing on the jobs of cinema with the aim of promoting the national film industry with films, documentaries, short films and interviews.
