Organised and promoted by the Embassy of Italy in Brasilia, the event saw the presence of high-ranking Brazilian government officials, (at federal, state and municipal levels), parliamentarians, and administrators.<\/p>\n<p>The supporting pillars of the MoU are connectivity, cyber security, and \u201csmart\u201d energy networks. A first test by an Italian-Brazilian consortium is already under way in the Municipality of Maric\u00e0, and aims to transform the city into a &#8220;living laboratory&#8221; using advanced technologies that can contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
