The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation joins the\u00a0Open Administration Week<\/a>\u00a0(SAA 17-21 May 2021), promoted by the Department of Public Administration to coincide with the Open Government Week to be held worldwide.<\/p>\n

The OGW was established by the Open Government Partnership (OGP) an international initiative designed to engage all governments in promoting transparency, empowering civil society, fighting corruption and spreading new innovation-driving technologies inside and outside Public Administrations. In the spirit of multi-stakeholder collaboration, the OGP is overseen by a Steering Committee including representatives of governments and civil society organizations. Italy joined the OGP on 5 September 2011 and, since October 2020, our country sits on the Steering Committee with a three-year mandate.<\/p>\n

In a context that has been profoundly reshaped by the health emergency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has realised an information campaign with the aim of publicising the exceptional effort made in 2020 to promote the culture and practice of transparency, participation and accountability, under the banner of innovation and inclusive digital transformation.<\/p>\n
