During the conversation, Minister Kishida expressed great concern for the unprecedented frequency of North Korea\u2019s nuclear tests and missile launches, also towards Japan\u2019s Exclusive Economic Zone\u200b. Mr. Kishida called to the international community to give a strong, cohesive response. Mr. Gentiloni reiterated his firm condemnation of nuclear tests and the launching of missiles, both of which represent a serious violation of UN Resolutions and constitute a threat to regional and global peace and security.
