The event, the fourth of its kind this year,\u00a0was\u00a0organised by the Emilia Romagna Region and designed to promote a fruitful discussion on the competitiveness of the region&#8217;s\u00a0agri-food products on international markets, especially in a situation which is constantly changing, due to unclear post-Brexit prospects and\u00a0the rounds of TTIP negotiations.\u00a0The seminar had the contributions of\u00a0Euro MP Paolo De Castro, a member of the European Parliament&#8217;s Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (AGRI), several representatives of the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Bank of Italy, and the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (UCSC) in Piacenza.
