Opened in partnership with Ucom, the fastest fixed and mobile service provider in Armenia, the new PoP is fully integrated with Sparkle\u2019s global Tier-1 IP transit service Seabone, among the top ten Internet networks worldwide, to provide premium high-speed Internet connectivity &#8211; 100GB multiples &#8211; with the highest level of availability and resiliency. The PoP in Yerevan is set to support the increasing demand of internet connectivity coming from the local market. In addition, it extends Sparkle\u2019s IP backbone reach in the region, providing to OTTs, Internet Service Providers, and Content and Application Providers a terrestrial and more direct IP transit route in the Caucasus region with lower latency compared to the traditional paths. DDoS Attack Mitigation &#8211; which grants Seabone customers the option to protect their network \u2013 and the Virtual NAP solution &#8211; which allows customers to access the main Internet Exchange Points without the need of building any proprietary infrastructure &#8211; complete Sparkle\u2019s portfolio of services offered via the Yerevan PoP.
