{"id":49927,"date":"2019-10-31T14:57:23","date_gmt":"2019-10-31T13:57:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/comunicati\/2019\/10\/diplomazia-economica-italiana-31-ottobre-ultime-news-dal-mondo-2\/"},"modified":"2019-10-31T14:57:23","modified_gmt":"2019-10-31T13:57:23","slug":"diplomazia-economica-italiana-31-ottobre-ultime-news-dal-mondo-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.esteri.it\/en\/sala_stampa\/archivionotizie\/approfondimenti\/2019\/10\/diplomazia-economica-italiana-31-ottobre-ultime-news-dal-mondo-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Italy&#8217;s Economic Diplomacy, 31 October: latest news from the world"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Business and Experts Forum of the Central European Initiative (CEI) \u2013 Milan, 15 November 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Within the framework of the Italian Presidency of the Central European Initiative (CEI), the\u00a0<strong>Ministry of Foreign Affairs,\u00a0<\/strong>in association with the\u00a0<strong>Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport\u00a0<\/strong>and the\u00a0<strong>General Secretariat of the CEI,\u00a0<\/strong>and with the support of\u00a0<strong>Assolombarda<\/strong>, organized the\u00a0<strong>\u201cBusiness and Experts Forum of the Central European Initiative\u201d\u00a0<\/strong>which will be held in\u00a0<strong>Milan\u00a0<\/strong>on\u00a0<strong>15 November 2019<\/strong>\u00a0at the head offices of the Association.<\/p>\n<p>The Forum represents the first operational follow-up to the \u201cTrieste Declaration\u201d adopted by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CEI member States on 12 June 2019, ratifying the will to boost the economic dimension of the Central European Initiative with a special focus on regional cooperation in the sector of infrastructure connectivity.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It is precisely the\u00a0<strong>theme\u00a0<\/strong>of\u00a0<strong>intermodal and infrastructure connectivity,<\/strong>\u00a0seen as a development factor, that will be the focus of the Business Forum in Milan; the aim is to explore the growth potential of terrestrial (road and railway networks) and maritime connections and the prospects for the port sector, with a view to favouring stronger economic relations and trade flows between CEI and extra-CEI Countries, also in the light of the possible evolution of important commercial routes worldwide, both terrestrial and maritime.<\/p>\n<p>The Forum, which is expected to be attended by representatives of institutions, experts, companies \u2013 both Italian and from the 17 CEI member States \u2013 banks and sectoral associations, will be divided into four sessions: the first will be dedicated to macro-regional policies and sustainable technological solutions in the area of the CEI member States;
