Thailand intends to enhance its attractiveness as a privileged\u00a0location for productive investments that in turn would allow the nation to rank among the high-income countries. In particular, the &#8216;Thailand Plus Package&#8217; is meant to streamline the approval of investment projects by setting up an ad-hoc\u00a0investment\u00a0steering committee\u00a0chaired by\u00a0the country&#8217;s Prime Minister.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<div>The\u00a0\u00a0new package\u00a0envisages also the establishment of industrial areas where projects promoted by South Korea, China and Taiwan would be developed, as well as\u00a0incentives specifically geared to attracting high-tech productive investments.
