The event, which is\u00a0 co-organized by Italy (the Italian Trade Agency, ICE, in cooperation with the DGSP of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation), Israel and Malta, is designed to promote the\u00a0 participation of businesses interested in exploring the opportunities offered by the United Nations, in particular by the UN Procurement Service through tenders for services and goods. The Seminar is organized into four panels focusing on procurement in the following sectors: agri-food, fishery and agriculture, medical and pharmaceutical services, the migration emergency, peacekeeping operations and construction, ICT innovation, aerospace technology and engineering.\u00a0 Christian Sauders, Assistant to the UN Secretary General and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Del Re, will be speaking at the Seminar along with presenters who are heads of the procurement\u00a0 departments of the main UN agencies, including\u00a0 UNPD, UNIDO, ICTP, UNDP, IAEA, UNGSC, UNICEF, ILO, FAO, IFAD,\u00a0WFP.
