The medium-term goal (2035) is to put in place one of the most competitive, advanced and rich economic areas in the world, capable of representing a challenge for areas like the Bay Area of Tokyo and New York and the Silicon Valley. According to the Plan, the area will serve as the model for a new phase in national growth, based on technological innovation, the digital economy, services, environmental protection and the quality of life.
