Sparkle<\/a>, a subsidiary of the TIM Group dedicated to developing international services and among the ten leading global operators, announced that its Greek subsidiary won the Data Center of the Year Award at the Info-Com 2018 World Conference, the largest event for TLC, IT and Media operators in South Europe, which took place on 21 November. Every year, the Info-Com Awards assign prizes to companies, services and persons who, through their creativity and passion, contribute to developing the market and to further evolving the technology.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n Sparkle operates in Greece through proprietary data centers \u2013 two in the area of Athens (Metamorfosi and Koropi) and one in Crete \u2013 which offer a comprehensive range of ICT solutions that, combined with the Sparkle global connectivity services,\u00a0\u00a0make the\u00a0data centers of Sparkle Greece<\/a>\u00a0particularly attractive for\u00a0\u00a0service providers and national and multinational corporations.<\/p>\n In the past few years, Sparkle has received several recognitions confirming its leadership in the Cloud and Data Center market in Greece for becoming the\u00a0Country\u2019s first operator in 2018 to receive the\u00a0\u00a0ISO 14001:2015<\/a>\u00a0certification\u00a0for its environmental management system and for winning the prize for\u00a0Best Cloud Service Provider<\/a>\u00a0in 2017.<\/p>\n Sparkle plans to further expand its business in Greece, by building new facilities, implementing last-generation technologies and employing highly qualified personnel.
