The talk was an opportunity to wish him well in his new job as head of the Foreign Office in view of intensive cooperation on foreign policy issues.\u00a0Minister Gentiloni plans to meet Mr Johnson next week in London to exchange views on Syria and then again in Washington for the summit of the anti-ISIS global coalition.<br \/>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 During their phone conversation, Minister Gentiloni reiterated Italy\u2019s intention to conduct negotiations for the UK\u2019s exit from the European Union from a stance of friendly cooperation.
