Sparkle, through its own pan-American network, will enable\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.saex.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SAEx<\/a>\u00a0to extend its coverage to the U.S. East Coast. The initial phase of the project envisages crossing the Atlantic Ocean by connecting SAEx\u2019s South Atlantic section of cable from Cape Town to Brazil and upwards to the East Coast of the U.S., landing in New Jersey. Sparkle is also planning to deliver interconnectivity services in Brazil and technical and commercial assistance in Brazil and in North America. The operation marks a further step forward in SAEx\u2019s effort to grow both westward and eastward from South Africa, forming a global system that covers two oceans and four continents.
