(For\u00a0five of the blocks no offers were submitted). The first contract entitles the awardee to be an exclusive operator; the second is as\u00a0part of a consortium -with a majority share &#8211; along with the\u00a0UK&#8217;s Capricorn Energy (a subsidiary of Cairn Energy) and the Mexican Citla; the third contract will\u00a0be shared with just\u00a0Citla. The areas assigned are all located in the Southeast Basin and are adjacent to those Eni was awarded during\u00a0&#8216;Round 1&#8217;, where the exploitation plan of the Amoca 2 field is being implemented with an estimated production of 30-50,000 barrels per day in 2018.
