Albanese\u2019s concert is organised by the Italian Cultural Institute in Bratislava in partnership with the Hlavn\u00e9 mesto SR Bratislava and \u201cPonti di Cultura\u201d to celebrate the inauguration of the 10<sup>th<\/sup> edition of the \u201cDolce vitaj\u201d Italian festival. Federico Albanese is a pianist and composer born in Milan in 1982 but a Berliner by adoption, who is known for his ariose cinema-like melodies admirably merging classical, electronic, minimalist and pop music. His refined dream-like notes can be associated with the music of Dustin O\u2019Halloran, Nils Frahm, Michael Nyman and Olafur Arnalds, and groups like Mogwai and the Durutti Column. In the course of his brilliant career, Albanese has also cooperated with Ludovico Einaudi. His first release, &#8220;The Houseboat and the Moon&#8221;, published by Denovali, was defined by critics \u201cone of the most beautiful albums of modern classical music of recent years\u201d.
