The Celebrations of Italian Design, organised by the Italian Embassy in Paraguay for the Asuncion Fashion Week, was a great public and media success. The event, which targeted professionals in the fashion sector, was held in the Embassy\u2019s gardens which, for the occasion, formed the backdrop to the catwalk of the major brands of Italian design of the calibre of Versace, Valentino, Pucci, Roberto Cavalli, and Diesel. \u00a0<\/p>\n
At the event, the Italian Ambassador, Gabriele Annis, conferred a special recognition award to 10 Paraguayan fashion designers and professionals who chose to study and train in Italy, and appointed them Italian Fashion Ambassadors in Paraguay.\u00a0 \u201cI think it is a dutiful acknowledgment and recognition to these important professionals who are so successful both at home and abroad. They combine the best of our two Countries: the strength of our unique tradition and the vibrant creativity and dynamism emitted by this very young Country,\u201d said Ambassador Annis.
