On the 35th anniversary of his death, the Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels, in conjunction with the associations Filef Nuova Emigrazione Belgio, ANPI Belgio and Libera Bruxelles and under the auspices of the Italian Embassy in Brussels, will stage the theatre performance entitled \u201cPio Latorre, orgoglio di Sicilia\u201d (\u201cPio Latorre, Pride of Sicily\u201d). The one-act play was written by Vincenzo Consolo and will be held at 9 p.m. on Monday, 24 April at the presence of Franco La Torre, Pio La Torre\u2019s son and the author of the \u201cSulle ginocchia\u201d (2015), giving his own take on his father\u2019s story.
