The Italian Embassy in Warsaw, under whose honorary auspices the event takes place, informs that the 2017 \u201cCinema Italia Oggi\u201d Festival will expand to six different Polish cities, with screenings scheduled in Warsaw (where the Festival opened on 16 March) to Cracow, Wroc\u0142aw, Poznan, Lublin and Szczecin. The programme is authentically Italian, conceived by the organisers in such a way as to maximise the viewing of Italian cinema throughout the Polish territory. The films to be screened include: \u201cLe Confessioni\u201d (\u201cThe Confessions\u201d) by Roberto And\u00f2 featuring Toni Servillo, \u201cVeloce come il vento\u201d (\u201cItalian Race\u201d) with Stefano Accorsi, and the blockbuster \u201cQuo Vado\u201d, starring Checco Zalone.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCinema Italia Oggi\u201d was organised by the Italian Cultural Institutes in Warsaw and Cracow, in association with the Istituto Luce Cinecitt\u00e0 and the Cinema Muranow-Gutek Film, with the support of the Italian consular network in Poland.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"As is customary every spring, Poland stages the \u201cCinema Italia Oggi\u201d, a festival of Italian contemporary cinema.
