The event\u00a0has been designed to promote Italy as a film setting, and stems from an agreement\u00a0between Tiziana Rocca&#8217;s Agnus Dei Production, the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles and its director, Valeria Rumori, and the Consulate General of Italy\u00a0in Los Angeles. The first edition of the project\u00a0is scheduled to\u00a0take place from 6 to 8 February\u00a0at the Italian Cultural Institute. Its aim is to present and promote Italy as a film location for foreign producers. One of the most important guests who will participate in the event is the film director Oliver Stone,\u00a0a great admirer of Italy and which has often inspired his films. Mr. Stone will present his documentary &#8220;Ukraine\u00a0on Fire&#8221; during an event curated by Variety.\u00a0Among the attendees will also be Cecilia and Anthony Peck, who will celebrate the 100th anniversary\u00a0of the birth of their father, Gregory Peck. He of course was the unforgettable\u00a0star of &#8220;Vacanze Romane&#8221; (Roman Holiday), a classic movie and\u00a0the &#8216;symbol&#8217; of\u00a0&#8220;Filming in Italy&#8221;. Riccardo Scamarcio, an actor, film director and producer, will represent Italy and take Stefano Mordini&#8217;s &#8220;Pericle il nero&#8221; to the event. The Italian Cultural Institute, with the collaboration of the local ICE (Italy&#8217;s Trade Agency), will\u00a0host the exhibition &#8220;Grand Tour in Today&#8217;s Italy&#8221;, curated by the Centro Cinema Citta Cesena. It features a selection of photographs\u00a0portraying regional Italian film sets from the 40s to date.
