The theme of the chat, promoted by the Italian Cultural Institute and the Oxford Bookstore, will be \u201cThe Weak Spot\u201d. It will take place at the Oxford Bookstore (Connaught Place) at 12:30 p.m. on 28 January. Simi was born in Viareggio in 1965. In France, his novels are published by Gallimard S\u00e9rie Noire and Sonatine, and in Germany by Bertelsmann. He also writes scripts for Italian television: \u201cL\u2019ispettore Coliandro\u201d, \u201cCrimini\u201d and \u201cRIS\u201d. His fist screenplay for a feature film was for \u201cLuce del Nord\u201d, directed by Stefano Sollima, which was selected among the best screenplays of 2010 in the European section of the Fiction Festival of La Rochelle. He contributes to newspapers and websites as film critic and journalist.
