The presentation of the Project was introduced by the Director General for Cultural and Economic Promotion and Innovation, Vincenzo De Luca, and was attended by numerous representatives of the Embassies of the Asian Countries participating in the Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM), a forum of dialogue between Europe and Asia. It illustrated the Project\u2019s aim to create \u201cArt Labs\u201d (exhibitions, installations, performances and training activities) in partnership with the Countries of the area, following in the tracks of the \u201cSilk Road\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>ReStArt is a dialogue and cooperation platform between Italy and Asian Countries and follows up on the 10<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0ASEM Summit held in Milan, in which Italy committed to define initiatives aimed at strengthening cooperation within the ASEM. The cooperation between ReStArt and the representatives of Euro-Asian civil society organisations, which mainly focuses on art, culture and sustainable development through the organisation of joint business and training activities, will enable the sharing of ideas and projects and intensify exchanges between Europe and Asia. Moreover, ReStArt proposes to be instrumental to highlighting and diffusing international parameters of governance and sustainable development. It is indeed an integrated cultural diplomacy action aimed at regenerating a \u201cNew Silk Road\u201d through art and culture.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The presentation of the ReStArt Project was accompanied by an exhibition of the works of Giovanni Gurioli (\u201cGenomes\u201d), Simone d\u2019Auria (\u201cSpoon\u201d), the\u00a0<i>Regenerative Art Group<\/i>\u00a0(\u201dTotem\u201d, made of recycled plastic, symbolising the recycling of the waste present in seas and oceans), \u201cEnergy Box\u201d (the project that has already \u201cRegenerated\u201d the streets of Milan with works by artists Atomo, Teatro, Gag and Kiv and other \u201cStreet Artists\u201d).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"As part of the integrated promotion action of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Foreign Ministry hosted the presentation of the\u00a0ReStArt \u2013 Regenerative Art in the Spirit of EurAsia\u00a0Project, developed in cooperation with the Rosini Gutman Foundation.
